In the framework of the “program of technical visits to power generation plants” that since 2015 has been carried out by the EnorChile Remote Operations Center team, ten engineers visited the El Romero Solar Plant, owned by Acciona and the Arrayán Wind Farm, owned by of Pattern. Both plants are currently coordinated through the COR.

The visit contemplated a general induction of the field operation from the beginning of the power generation to its point of connection with the National Electric System, with special emphasis on the electrical elements subject to coordination that each plant has.

For the Electrical Engineer and current Head of the COR, Juan Cárdenas, “The visits generate great value within the team, as it allows us to complement our technical knowledge and understand the reality that operators face on the ground daily. to share with people who interact daily by telephone. “

For the newest member of the team, Felipe Gonzalez, “From the first day I joined this team I had a very thorough training and ordering in the tasks performed by the COR, with a large human group supporting me for a good performance. These visits allow us to perfect our daily tasks, understanding the dimensions, difficulties and distances faced by the operators in the field to execute maneuvers. So we get a general perspective of the plants that we coordinate. “

EnorChile sends its sincere thanks to Pattern Energy and Acciona for their willingness to receive the COR team and extends a warm greeting.
